Description:
Red silk regimental flag of the 37th Regiment National Guard of New York; gold embroidered seal of the New York National Guard in center with the inscription: "IBIMUS QUOCOMQUE OFFICIUM VOCAT." in a blue banner surrounding the seal; a militia cornet (arm with a raised sword or axe) is embroidered in red, beige, pink, blue, and gold above the seal; below the seal is a banner embroidered, "37th. RE'G N.Y.S.N.G." in gold; gold silk fringe trim on the three sides of the fly; button holes along the length of the hoist.
