Description:
Blue silk banner of the Morrisania Fire Department trimmed with metallic (oxidized) ribbon; painted on both sides, "FIRST HAND FIRE ENGINE/ BUILT FOR/ MORRISANIA FIRE DEPARTMENT/ 1851" in gold, yellow and red letters; metallic finge across the bottom; four loops of the metallic ribbon trim sewn across the top with the wooden pole strung through; acorn finials on each end of the pole; red, white and blue silk cord and two tassels hung on either side of the banner from the pole.
