Description:
Sheet iron foot warmer with sliding drawer that functions as an oil reservoir and wick holder; rectangular, box-shaped foot warmer decorated with pattern of pierced holes and marbleized painting.
Gallery Label:
This foot warmer was given to the donor by wreckers who demolished St. John's Church on Varick Street in 1918. The warmer may have originally had a fabric cover.
