Description:
Aquamarine bottle glass footed container; blown; baluster-shaped with narrow neck and flaring lip; pontil mark in base.
Gallery Label:
The accession records call this object an inkwell, but it may have been another kind of container. There is wear around the inside of the neck, indicating the use of a stopper, and there is red-brown residue in the worn areas.
