Description:
"Chasseur pattern" dark blue wool felt forage cap; black patent leather visor which is flat and somewhat rectangular; soft crown with circular, countersunk top; black leather chin strap secured at either side by a button embossed with shield-breasted eagle (with "I" in relief at center of shield).
