Description:
Sword bayonet with straight, single-edged blade with deep fuller; steel counter-guard with curved quillon with flattened ball finial opposite circular gun mount; grips faced with hardwood plaques which are secured with two rivets to the tang of the blade; brass pistol grip pommel with 1 1/2 inch slot in back and steel spring bayonet catch; blackened steel scabbard with narrow band with rectangular loop near throat and ball tip.
