Description: 
Dark blue wool officer's double-breasted frock coat, with 3/4" closed stand-up collar lined with dark blue velvet, yellow metal epauletters with 3/8" bullion on the shoulders (no insignia), 7 buttons on each side down the front, 3 buttons on each closed, false cuff; 4 panels at the back of the bodice, with 2 buttons near the center at the waistline and a button near the bottom of each side of the split skirt; all buttons cast with the Great Seal; inside lined with dark green silk, bodice lightly padded and quilted except the center back 2 panels, slit pocket at the left breast, 2 sets of hooks and eyes at the opening of the waist, sleeves lined with white silk.
