Description:
Leather, brass, and cotton belt frog; stitched, rectangular brown leather frog with V-shaped double strap riveted with brass stud to front and back, and another strap fastened to brass loop at center top.

According to an attached label, this frog was part of a uniform waist belt worn by Major John H. Marsching during World War I.
