"The Game of Cat" board game with board set in the bottom half of the paper covered cardboard box and six turned wooden playing pieces and a cardboard spinner with a metal arrow; box cover chromolithographed with a group of eight children playing a game with a stick and a rock; box cover inscribed, "THE/ GAME/ OF/ CAT/ COPYRIGHT 1898, BY CHAFFEE & SELCHOW, NEW YORK"; interior of box chromolithographed with a field of multicolored squares and eleven children; instructions printed on the underside of the lid.
