Description:
Flat-folding olive drab wool garrison cap trimmed with red and white striped braid; brown leather sweatband and olive (synthetic?) textile lining.
Gallery Label:
According to the accession records, this cap with worn by the donor, Charles T. Miller, during his army service in World War II. Miller enlisted as a private and rose to the rank of 1st-sergeant in the 162nd Signal Photo Co., which was later consolidated with the 3908 Signal Service Battalion, Photo GHQ (1943-1945), Headquarters of the European Theater of Operations (London and Paris).
