Wooden gavel with 3 incised bands around each of the head and handle; the bottom of the handle is baluster shaped and tapers down to a rounded end.
Gallery Label:
This gavel is said to have been used by William Henry Harrison (1773-1841), during his one month of service as ninth president of the United States.
