Description:
Colorless blown lead glass gemel flask formed from two flasks stuck together and necks pulled in opposite directions; flasks have short cylindrical necks with applied purple glass lips, ovoid tapered bodies decorated with applied opaque white threads pulled up into a loop pattern and marvered and with applied bands of trailings crimped into parallel notches on the edges, and shared applied cirlcular base with pontil mark.

Gemel bottles were made in England, Ireland, and America in the late-eighteenth and early-nineteenth centuries.
