Reverse shows an elaborate battle scene with legend above: "VICTORIA LIBERTATIS VINDEX."; inscription in exergue: "FVGATIS CAPTIS AVT CAESIS/AD COWPENS HOSTIBVS/XVII.JAN.MDCCLXXXI."
