Description:
White silk jersey machine knit gloves, hemmed at the wrist.

These gloves were worn by Congressman Cornelius Amory Pugsley at the funeral services of William McKinley (1843-1901) on September 17, 1901 in Washington, D.C. President McKinley was shot by an anarchist in Buffalo, New York, on September 6, and died eight days later.
