This is an undated copy by Wallace of the original view by C. Milbourne, which is also in the Society's collection. Milbourne's view was reproduced as a lithograph in colors by William Ellis and copyrighted by H.R. Robinson in 1847. Wallace's watercolor was, no doubt, taken from the published print.
