Description:
This wooden block has four different slightly abrasive surfaces for the honing and sharpening of razors. The cardboard case has a paper label with elaborate designs including cupids and leafy flourishes and reads, in part, "G. Saunder's Metallic Tablet & Razor Strop" with instructions for how to use each honing face. On the handle "G. Saunders'/ Broadway, N.Y."
