Description: 
Walnut Renaissance Revival hall bench; pierced triangular crest with heavy scrolls at top center, a lion's head and shield below, putti and garlands at either side, and scrolls along edge of base, atop high rectangular back framed by a heavy cornice on top and, on either side, a pilaster with carved female bust at its base; molded rectangular panel in upper back with mask at center flanked by a draped figure on either side, with dense flower and scroll background and border; scrolled arms with bearded satyrs' heads beneath handrests; solid base with tufted purple velvet cushions, harpie at each front corner, and heraldic emblem in oblong frame at center front with a pair of figures flanking an urn on either side; wide convex molding with vertical notches along edge of base; feet extremely deteriorated.
