Description:
Olive brown wool hat with soft cylindrical crown with flat top, and rigid horizontal visor with rounded edge; gilded metal front insignia consisting of shield-breasted eagle with banner and oval disk embossed with thirteen stars above; chin strap of same woolen material secured at either side by a gilded metal button embossed with insignia similar to the type attached to front of hat; khaki cotton(?) lining with a circle of plastic at center top of crown.
