Silver infantry headwear insignia with narrow rectangle across the center, with blue enamel and embossed image of a rifle in low relief, with crosed oak leaf garland around the back, 2 prongs on reverse.
Gallery Label: 
The rifle on this insignia was designed by A. Du Bois of the U.S. Quartermaster's Corps' heraldic section in 1923, and was adopted in 1924 for use in the Army's infantry. The crossed oak leaf garlands typically signify the rank of General.
