Description:
Walnut-veneered William & Mary high chest; upper case with cyma-curve cornice molding, two drawers in line over three graduated drawers; lower case with center drawer flanked by square side drawers with arched skirt, six turned trumpet-shaped legs, flat scalloped stretchers on front and sides, straight stretcher on rear, and ball feet; brass quatrefoil mounts with teardrop pulls and escutcheons; upper case probably originally a chest of drawers, and entire piece has been heavily restored, with new legs, stretchers, top, and veneer.
