Description:
Wood hog poke consisting of two horizontal pieces with holes pierced at ends and two tapering vertical pieces or pegs which fit through these holes; one peg held high in place with a hand wrought iron nail.
Gallery Label:
According to the donor, this object was called a hog yoke and was used around obstinate pigs' necks to stop them from going under the gate or through the fence.
