Description:
Struck bronze uniface plaquette with central octagonal reserve with lion, ship, tree, and two coat of arms and legend above: "THE HOLLAND SOCIETY OF NEW YORK/1609/Eindelijk wordt een Spruit een Boom/Founded 1885." Two oval images on either side, one with clothed bust of male royalty with legend: "EN TOVT FIDELIES AV ROY", the other with two clasped hands with legend: "IVSOVES A PORTER LA BRESACE" and date "1665." Inscription below exergual line reads: "JANUARY MCMXI/HOLLAND SOCIETY."
