In his memoirs the Baron Hyde de Neuville wrote: "The Hudson River is magnificent, truly imposing and its banks are as picturesque as they are romantic." This is a view of the Highlands south toward West Point. At the right is Butter Hill, now known as Storm King. Breakneck Mountain is at the left.
