Description:
A gold metal military insignia cap pin in the shape of two elaborately detailed and decorated crossed sabres with closed loop pommels under the numbers "7-1", with two small stickpins on the reverse. Probably a Civil War era (or slightly later) Union cavalry hat insignia.
