Description:
Dark blue wool single-breasted artillery chasseur jacket; 1 3/4" closed stand-up collar (one hook and eye), with red at te throat; 9 buttons down the front, watch pocket on the right near the third button from the bottom; closed sleeves with false cuffs, 3 buttons at the wrist; all buttons cast with an eagle above quadrant shield encircled by stars; back made in 4 panels; red piping around all outer edges; jacket lined with white cotton, breast lightly padded and quilted, short skirt at the bottom lined with red silk.
