Description:
Light blue wool, hand made, single-breasted jacket with dark blue lacing; 2" closed stand-up collar (one hook and eye), with lacing trim and a button on each side of the collar; shoulder loops with lacing trim and a button at the collar ends; 12 buttons down the front; all buttons cast with shield-breasted eagle clutching a branch and arrows in its talons, all unmarked; closed sleeves (no cuffs), with chevron-shaped lacing design; back is in 4 panels; jacket lined with red and blue plaid wool flanel, sleeves lined with green cotton printed in geometric designs, vertical slit pocket at left breast.
