Description:
Dark blue wool, hand made, single-breasted Artillery musician's jacket with red cotton lacing; 2 1/2" closed stand-up collar (one hook and eye), collar with lacing, 2 buttons on each side at the shoulders; 12 buttons down the front with horizontal lacing extending out from each button; open sleeves (no cuffs) with 2 buttons at each wrist, lacing around the wrists; all buttons unmarked, cast with shield-breasted eagle; 4 panel back with lacing; jacket lined with white plain-weave wool, breast lightly padded and quilted, left breast vertical slit pocket lined with plaid cotton.
