Description:
Wheelthrown redware baluster-shaped jar with thick, rounded, flaring rim and one applied handle with lead glaze on interior only.
Gallery Label:
A T. S. Henne and his descendants made redware starting about 1800 in Shartlesville, PA, and it is possible that J. S. Henne was a member of T. S. Henne's clan.
