Description:
Silver struck medal with obverse depicting female shoulder-length portrait facing left; legend: "JENNY LIND-GOLDSCHMIDT FODD 6 OKT. 1820 DOD 2 NOV.1887." Reverse depicts seated semi-nude allegorical winged figure writing on tablet, lyre at lower left; legend above: "ANDA.OCH.KONST"; inscription in exergue: "AF KONGL.MUSIKALISKA/AKADEMIEN." Medal is inset into square burgundy red fitted leather case with dark red silk satin and silk velvet interior.
