Description:
Rectangular wooden jewelry box covered with dark brown leather; lid is hinged at the back, with metal clasp fastener at front center, the lid is padded with wool beneath the leather; inside lined with purple velvet; lid has a metal hook near clasp at the center with recessed oval form for securing jewelry (necklace?), with an oval metal plaque at the bottom right corner stamped with "418"; bottom of box is flat.
