Wristlet

This is one of a pair of wristlets worn by Mrs. John Pintard; the other oval miniature, also in the Society, bears a painted representation of Justice. They were executed about the time of Pintard's marriage and may have been a gift to his fiancée or bride. The portrait is the earliest known likeness of the subject, representing him at about the age of twenty-five.
