Description:
Deep form soft paste porcelain junket dish with scalloped border, the interior molded with three scallop shells in which fruits are printed in underglaze blue, and a center molded six-lobed circle printed with the "pine cone" pattern; six sprays of blue flowers are printed each below acorresponding curve of the rim;the outside is printed with large salad vegetables; the inside rim is apinted in underglaze blue dentil border; marked in the form of a hatched crescent.

This piece is from an assembled set of Worcester blue and white soft paste porcelain assembled by collector Edmund Astley Prentis (1883-1967). The more common shape of the junket dish had six molded scallop shells.
