Description:
Copperplate-printed cotton kerchief with a scene depicting the signing of the Declaration of Independence, after the painting by Trumbull or the engraving by Asher B. Durand; below the scene is a key with pencil sketches of each man's head as it is above and their signatures; printed in sepia on a white ground.

This kerchief was probably made for the Centennial Exposition of 1876 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
