Iron keys; cylindrical shafts with circular hand grips and rectangular tabs extending from end.

According to accession records, these keys were used at the New Gaol, a prison in City Hall Park in Manhattan that was used by British military authorities to imprison captured Continental Army soldiers and other patriots during the Revolutionary War.
