Description:
Oval silver buckle frame with scalloped outer edge, beaded inner edge, and vertical hinged chape and tongue the center (made of other metal).
Gallery Label:
This knee buckle belonged to Captain John Stagg, the donor's grandfather. Based on the style of the buckle, it probably dates to the Revolutionary War.
