Description: 
Cambric dickey with handmade silk bobbin lace and cotton whitework embroidery collar, the front of the bodice is open and hemmed without fasteners, the shoulders are extended and lined at the edge with facing, the bottom edges of the front pieces and the back are threaded with linen twill tape which goes around the body to secure the garment in place; near the outer edge of the collar is a whitework sawtooth pattern framing bobbin lace diamonds bordered by whitework scroll patter, the edge is trimmed with bobbin lace which is primarily tulle and edged with floral design scalloped beaded edge.
