Description:
Two ecru linen bobbin lace fragments with the same pattern, the foot edges are plain, there are bands of checkerboard design across the tops with a row of flowers and ivy leaves beneath, the bottom designs are inverted cordonnet flowers creating a sawtooth scalloped edge.

This lace belonged to Sarah Matilda Frost Miller (July 16, 1824-September 21, 1888).
