Gallery Label:
Robert Woolley (1944-2001), a decorative arts specialist and auctioneer, had a legendary career at Sotheby's auction house. While at Sotheby's, Woolley conducted several auctions for AIDS charities. He died in 2001 after a long battle with the disease. This pin was given out at his memorial service.
