Description:
Jigsaw puzzle in cardboard box with lithographed cover illustration in various colors within cardboard frame, originally gilded; illustrations of Parisian landmarks such as the Arc de Triomphe and the cathedral of Notre Dame; inside box, flat surface (background) for completing puzzle, also within gilded frame, with lithographed illustration of blue sky and white clouds; numerous puzzle pieces may reconstruct individual landmarks with name printed underneath; pieces include fragments of street scenes with people and architectural details such as a rose window.
