Description:
Rectangular Chippendale looking glass with mahogany veneer frame; ornately shaped crest with arched center and scrolls on either side; mirror plate surrounded by molded border with gilding; intricately shaped triangular base with a projecting scroll at each corner.

According to the accession records, this looking glass once belonged to miniature painter John Ramage (1748-1802).
