Description:
Tortoise shell lorgnette with shaped handle into which spectacles fold with a carved scroll and flower design at the base of the handle; spectacles have oval lenses and an hourglass shaped bridge; loop at end of handle attaches to a metal chain studded with white rhinestones.

This lorgnette belonged to Ruth Draper. It was used in "Opening the Bazaar."
