Bronze struck medal with obverse showing bust-length portrait of female in French folk dress; legend: "LORRAINE/1870-1914." Reverse depicts ornate scroll-work blank panel for engraving at bottom, surmounted by oval medallion bearing cross and flanked by laurel and oak branches.
