Wooden model of mansion in glass case with metal frame; mansion at the center of grassy knoll grounds with a tree at the front left corner.

According to the accession record, this is a model of Mansewood, built 1810 3 miles north of Hyde Park, NY. It was originally the manse of St. James' Church in Hyde Park, but it discontinued in this capacity due to its distance from the village. It was sold as a private residence to Francis Griswold Landon around 1894.
