White metal struck medal with obverse showing statue of Columbus holding globe and scroll; legend: "WORLD'S COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION/ CHICAGO 1892-3." Reverse divided horizontally with image of Columbus and crew bearing flags kneeling with ship and sea in background and "1492" above; domed building with flags and "1892" below.
