Brass struck medal with obverse showing figure on beach with flag surrounded by other figures within border of stars; in exergue.: "1492." Reverse shows eagle in center with legend above: "WORLD'S COLUMBIAN/ EXPOSITION" and below: "CHICAGO/ 1893." Loop fused to top.
