Bronze struck medal with obverse showing rigged sailing ship in rope-tied central circle and outer ring of chain. Legend within border: UNITED STATES"; below ship: "CONSTITUTION"; under rope and above anchor at bottom: "NAVY". Obverse blank center with legend surrounding: "FIDELITY. ZEAL. OBEDIENCE". Hole punched at top, ring hanger connected to larger ring holding blue grosgrain ribbon suspended from pin back.
