White metal struck medal with obverse showing seal within drapes; legend: "75TH ANNIVERSARY BATTLE OF NORTH POINT & BOMBARDMENT OF FORT MCHENRY/ SEPT 12 & 13, 1814/ MARYLAND EXPOSITION/ BALTIMORE, SEPT 9-14, 1889." Reverse shows monument labeled "BATTLE MONUMENT"; legend: "ERECTED BY THE CITY OF BALTIMORE / IN MEMORY OF HER BRAVE DEFENDERS/ WHO FELL AT NORTH POINT & FORT MCHENRY". Hole punched at top.
