Description:
Lead struck shield-shaped medal with obverse showing bust-length portraits of Hudson (left, with ruff) and Fulton bordered with laurel branches; legend: "HUDSON-FULTON/ CELEBRATION/SEPT.25th./TO/OCT.9th./ 1909". Reverse shows sailing ship at left and steamship at right; legend: "NEW YORK TO ALBANY/ HALF MOON CLERMONT/1609 1807/TER-CENTENARY/ CENTENARY". Loop fused to top.
