Description:
Military-style medal with top pin-back bar and hanging medallion. Bar engraved with "38TH/ANNUAL REUNION". Medallion below shaped like a circle surrounded by a laurel wreath with two crossed swords above with a horse-head at the center. Medallion reads "OF THE/10TH NEW YORK/VET. CAVALRY/AT/CORTLAND, N.Y./AUG, 29 TO 31/1899". Small images of eage heads at either side of circle, and an American crest below.
