Description:
Struck aluminum medal with obverse showing memorial obelisk amidst trees with legend: "DULCE ET DECORUM EST PRO PATRIA MORI", with dates "1778" and "1878" across image. Reverse shows Native Americans and colonial settlers engaged in a battle, burning houses are in the background, legend: "IN COMMEMORATION OF THE BATTLE AND MASSACRE OF WYOMING. JULY 3. 1778."
